Over the past few years she has participated in a variety of art shows all around the North. She has been so successful she opened her own gallery for a year in 2016 - 2017 and mostly sold her own work alongside a few other Northern artists. Mainly known for her Northern landscape, Jessica also tackles difficult subjects such as abuse and spirituality. Jessica views art as a necessity not just something she enjoys doing. She grew up in a home where abuse was prevalent and art was an avenue which choose her from the start of her life. "I have always been an artist. Art is all I cared about when I was growing up and even now that is still true. I needed to express all that pain I was carrying around from living in an abusive home and I still do. Landscapes calm me and my spiritual paintings reaffirms the healing I have done. Some of my artwork has dealt directly with my tumultuous past and this has helped me to overcome and aspire to be something beyond hard experiences. If I did not have all that pain in my childhood I know I would not be the ambitious artist I am today. I am grateful that art exists in this world, it has given me the gift of healing."
